There’s a new addition to our linen colours: Purple, a muted violet with a soft grey undertone. If you like quiet colours but fancy a change from grey or navy, this might be the one.
What we love most is how gentle it feels. Purple isn’t bright or bold, and the linen weave gives it a little extra depth. In daylight, the violet comes through more clearly; in shade, it looks darker and smokier.
A closer look at Purple
On the fabric roll, you can see the fine linen texture and the grey undertone of this shade. Light catches the folds differently, creating lighter and darker areas that give the colour life in a finished garment too.
What goes with it?
For an easy everyday combination, try Purple with white, cream or natural linen. If you prefer darker colours, denim blue and charcoal grey work well too. We also like it alongside olive green.
A dress in this shade doesn’t need much else: comfortable shoes and, on cooler days, a favourite knit. The colour alone brings a small change to a familiar wardrobe.
